6 Days Northern Circuit Safari - Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro

ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. This day is reserved for relaxation after your journey and to prepare for the exciting safari ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short briefing about your itinerary and an optional town orientation or leisure time at the lodge. Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit and offers a peaceful and comfortable start to your adventure.

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading toward Tarangire National Park, a park renowned for its iconic baobab trees and large herds of elephants.

Upon arrival, you will embark on a full day game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes. You will have excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras and various antelope species. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting abundant wildlife, particularly during the dry season. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a designated picnic site

In the late afternoon, you will proceed to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and rich birdlife, including flamingos along the lakeshore. During your game drive, you will explore lush groundwater forests, open plains and acacia woodlands, with chances to see elephants, hippos and a variety of bird species. You will enjoy picnic lunch  inside Lake Manyara National Park

Later in the day, you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, you will journey toward the world famous Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.

Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you will begin your first game drive across the vast plains, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration. Picnic lunch en route to Serengeti or upon arrival in the park

In the evening, you will check in at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

This day is dedicated to a full exploration of Serengeti National Park. You will spend the day on extensive game drives, tracking predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, while also observing large herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles.

The vast plains and diverse ecosystems provide outstanding photographic opportunities and unforgettable wildlife encounters. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an additional cost. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush during your game drive while taking in the breathtaking views of the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park.

Return to your accommodation in the evening for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

En route, you may stop at scenic viewpoints and enjoy additional wildlife sightings. Upon arrival, you will ascend to the crater rim, where breathtaking panoramic views await.

You will check in at your lodge, perfectly positioned for the next day’s adventure.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

On your final day, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

The crater floor hosts a dense population of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants and flamingos. You will enjoy a half-day game drive within this natural sanctuary.

After lunch, you will ascend the crater and return to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
