6 Days Western Corridor Safari through Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations, combining diverse landscapes and exceptional game viewing. Day to Day Itinerary

ARRIVAL DAY

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide  and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Take this time to relax after your journey and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

DAY 1 : ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and begin your safari towards Tarangire. The drive takes you across scenic Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees, where you may see local communities, livestock, and daily village life.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. During your game drive, you’ll explore seasonal swamps, open savannah, and the Tarangire River, spotting wildlife such as zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, and possibly lions or leopards. After the game drive, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

 

After breakfast, journey towards the Serengeti via the highlands, where you’ll pass farms and local communities. En route, enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing into the Serengeti.

Arrive in the central Serengeti  by midday and enjoy a game drive in one of Africa’s most famous wildlife regions. This area is rich in predators and offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

DAY 3 : WESTERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

 

After breakfast, head towards the Western Corridor, a key area during the Great Migration season April to June. Vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles gather near the Grumeti River. This region is also home to predators such as lions, hyenas, and leopards, along with giant Nile crocodiles waiting along the riverbanks. 

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in this dramatic landscape. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 4 : WESTERN SERENGETI to Central Serengeti

 

Enjoy a full morning game drive in the Western Serengeti, exploring its diverse habitats and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, return to the central Serengeti for more wildlife viewing en route. The endless plains are home to a wide variety of animals including impalas, buffalo, hippos, and large predator populations.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

 

After breakfast, depart from the vast plains of Serengeti National Park and begin your scenic journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route, with chances to spot wildlife as you leave the Serengeti behind.

Crossing into the highlands, the landscape shifts from open savannah to rolling green hills and forested slopes. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your first breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater from the rim, an unforgettable preview of the adventure that awaits the following day.  Spend the evening at your lodge, relaxing and enjoying the cool climate and stunning surroundings of this unique conservation area.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER TO RETURN TO ARUSHA

 

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This natural wonder is home to a dense population of wildlife including lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and the endangered black rhino. After your safari on the crater floor, begin your return journey to Arusha , transfer to the airport for your departure.
