7 Days Serengeti Safari and Ngorongoro Adventure

ARRIVAL 

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This day is reserved for relaxation after your journey, allowing you to recover and prepare for your safari adventure. You may have a short briefing about the safari.

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring its diverse landscapes and spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras and various antelope species. The Tarangire River attracts a wide variety of animals, offering excellent viewing opportunities.  After the game drive, you will proceed to your lodge or camp for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will enjoy a game drive through lush forests, open plains and acacia woodlands, where you may encounter tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos and a rich variety of birdlife including flamingos along the lakeshore.

In the evening, you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: JOURNEY TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will travel toward Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.

Along the way, you will enjoy stunning landscapes before entering the Serengeti, where you will begin your game drive across the vast plains, home to abundant wildlife including predators and large herbivores. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration. You will experience a half day game drive before check in and relax at your accommodation for the night.

DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park on extensive game drives.

Throughout the day, you will track predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, while observing large herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. The Serengeti provides exceptional wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities while lunch will be enjoyed as a picnic in the bush during the game drive, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery.

You will return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, you will continue with another full day of game drives in different areas of Serengeti National Park.

This additional day allows for deeper exploration and increases your chances of witnessing remarkable wildlife interactions and, if in season, the Great Migration. You will explore a variety of habitats rich in wildlife. Lunch will be taken as a picnic in the bush during your game drive.

In the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

During the journey, you will continue to enjoy wildlife sightings and scenic views as you ascend to the crater rim, where spectacular panoramas await.

You will check in and relax, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO CRATER TO RETURN TO ARUSHA

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater hosts a dense concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos, offering one of the most unique safari experiences in Africa. After the game drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

After ascending the crater in the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Arusha, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
