The Lemosho Route is a beautiful and less crowded trekking path on Mount Kilimanjaro, starting from the western side of the mountain. It is widely regarded as one of the most scenic routes, offering panoramic views and a rich variety of landscapes, including rainforest, heath, moorland and alpine desert. The trail is designed for gradual acclimatization, giving trekkers a better chance to adapt to the altitude and reach the summit successfully.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO) Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Here, you’ll meet your guides for a thorough trek briefing. They will explain the route, safety procedures, and check your trekking gear to ensure everything is in order. This day allows you to rest from your journey and mentally prepare for the adventure ahead.
